Biographical Info

I am a working artist and art teacher in Sumner County. I have been creating art since I could hold a pencil. My primary mediums are paint and polymer clay. I have created many back drop murals for the Junior Service League(many years ago), Sumner County Schools, and local businesses and private homes. In 2009 I started working with polymer clay and in 2014 started creating miniature realistic sculptures of homes and buildings. My business goes by the name of Oddly and Company. I have sculpted over 500 homes for people all around the world. My work has been featured on Michael’s Crafts webpage and social media. In 2017 I was voted Sumner County’s best artist/pottery studio in the Mainstreet awards and in the years since have been a runner up. I was born and raised in Sumner County and a 98 graduate of GHS. I received my BFA and MAT at Belmont University. My family and I recently built a house on a family plot in the history district of Gallatin. I’m married to Josh and we have one beautiful daughter named Ruby, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. We love Gallatin and it’s history and are excited to be living in the heart of our beautiful town.
